But the world doesn't stop going just because you want it to. You take your time, you try and play normal, but that doesn't stop them from walking right up to your front door. They're monsters. They don't care."

Cordelia can't help that she's a conduit, either, but he was pushing her buttons right back. He was acting like he was the first person to ever lose something, and Cordelia wasn't the type to give sympathy over something like that. "You fight because they don't stop unless you do.
