Free for all for superhero based fandom smashing. Make a top level with your hero of choice and someone else will smash into it. I figured this would be easy and fun to do until we figure out actual plot and then we can do that.
For now, shenanignans!

Laurel's been trailing him for an hour, but he's way more acrobatic than she is. She almost wishes she had taken Oliver and Roy up on those free running lessons, but whatever. She'll pick it up later.
She's getting close, though, that is until a handful of Damian Darhk's ghosts come out of nowhere and she's got to divert her attention. Sorry new hero - she'll have to figure out who you are later.]

[he's in town running an errand for Bruce, and while he's no where near done, that's on hold for a little while, while he waits for Barbara and Alfred to get back to him on something. it may end up taking them awhile -- if not the rest of the night, then at least a couple of hours, if the fact that Alfred suggested he go back to the hotel and catch a nap was any indication. and yeah, he could have done that, could have lost her fairly easily with the acrobatics (he's been doing that part of things since he was a kid, born into the circus, the son of trapeze artists), this is way more fun. he'll let her catch up eventually, maybe, and see what this is all about, but -- ]
[hey, wait. where'd she go?]
[he stops on a rooftop, tensed, half-expecting her to jump out of no where and onto him (maybe he let her get too close?), and when nothing comes, backtracks the way he came, and oh. are we having a fight scene? he thinks we're having a fight scene]
[that in mind, he releases the mag lock on the escrima sticks he wears on his back and reaches to pull them free. that done and without charging them up (they work like stun batons, when he wants them to), he takes a dive off of his perch to land next to her] Hi. [a beat] Bad guys?
no subject
Besides. She's got her new mask friend for back up.
He drops down next to her and she glances over, before shrugging in response.]
Yep. Bad guys.
[Unlike Oliver, she's better at playing well with others.]
The Arrow's got a no-kill policy. Think you can work with that?
no subject
[a beat] You wanna take point, since this is your home turf and all? [if she leads, he'll follow]
no subject
Let's do it.
[And with that, off the roof they go and into the fray. Time to take down some bad guys with cyanide capsules and machine guns.]

She's having a really bad day. Let's just leave it at that.
Since Hogarth is being a twatwaffle and dragging her feet on getting Hope any actual real help in terms of a defense, Jessica is being forced to seek legal help elsewhere. What better place to look than a law office that seems to take an interest in cases that don't have a shot in hell. Being a PI, she hears things, and so far through all the research she's done they seem to be clean.
Jessica isn't sure she trusts it - Jessica doesn't trust anything - but if she stands any chance of getting Hope help for being stuck under Kilgrave's thrall, this is obviously the place to do it. Let's ignore the fact that she has no money, no leverage and no actual evidence that will help them win.
But for now she's just going to sit in the waiting area, left foot tapping out an odd kind of morse code with her back heel while she waits for one of the actual lawyers to come out and deal with her.
Just for the record, Karen is hoping that that happens ASAP.]

Miss Jones?
[he's not a mindreader, but Karen probably gave him her name when she came to let him know they had a client]
no subject
[She bounces to her feet anxiously.]
I think I have a potential client for you.
no subject
Why don't you come sit down? We can talk about it.

I'm sure at this point you've heard about Hope Shlottman?

[he's currently watching Hope through the observation window, trying to get an initial impression before he goes in to talk to her, but he glances back, when Jessica enters. he turns in her direction entirely when he thinks he recognizes her, if only from what Hogarth told him]
Miss Jones, I presume?
no subject
Yeah. That's me.

You her public defender or something?
[She knows he's not, the attorney has a different name. But for now, she's playing dumb.]
no subject
[he frowns at her]
As far as I'm aware, you already know the answer to that question. [a beat] Miss Hogarth asked me to provide a psych evaluation.

[what do, Barry?]

... completely blow Bruce's cover by being a giant nerd. He's making his way into Jitters, basically looking for a cup of coffee so he can head in to work when he spots one of his scientific heroes just sitting in the middle of Jitters like this is any ordinary day.
Okay. Okay, Barry, be cool. Let's just casually stroll past his table, super casual, just so he can get a closer look and when he does ... he promptly loses all his chill.]
... Oh my God. You're Bruce Banner.
[ARE YOU READY FOR THE ONCOMING GEEK STORM?]
no subject
[on the plus side, a geek storm will be an improvement from what he thinks this might be -- someone working for Ross, someone who put two and two together from Culver, from Harlem, from New York, something along those lines. which probably explains why he's staring up at Barry like a deer in headlights] No -- I'm not ... [shit]
[can he get up and make a break for it, now? he's definitely thinking he might]

Your paper on anti-electron collisions was mind-blowing. Your theory about their impact on detection and manipulation of gamma radiation?
